The Coach House Opens (Added 14/07/21 )

 

Our new project, The Coach House, is now officially open. This building (a former coach house) will provide a unique hub that can be used by both our tenants and the wider Leeds community.

First to be launched is a psychotherapy service, which offers a vital and unique resource to our tenants and will further LATCH’s commitment to create a psychologically informed environment.

Also on offer is a Sunday Bike Fix, which is run by volunteer bike mechanics from Leeds-based project, The Pedallers Arms. They are providing hands-on help for residents and community members to fix their own bikes. The project is already proving hugely popular and we are thrilled to have received fantastic feedback from local residents.

These services form part of our commitment to helping tenants with both their physical and mental wellbeing.

We have big plans for the future and are talking to a wide range of other groups about providing services at The Coach House including mindfulness facilitators, spoken word and performing arts teachers and a local Menspeak group.
